4th of July

No letter this week, just pictures.


Adam and Company at "The Point Park" (Google Earth it) on the Ohio River and the Little Kanwah River...We taught a lesson here and met a few more people...A man from Jamaica and his Girlfriend who was named Jamaica...This is "Adam & Company"  Corbin and Cody...Summer is in the heat...but the humility was gone for the holiday week...These guys are awesome, All recent High School Grads and seeking for truth, keeping commitments...we are going out the Blennerhaset Island with them today after we finish at the library.

 ​ The Haroldsen's had a BBQ on the 4th of July...They even invited some of our investigators and potentials, along with a few great member families...it was a blast...but it ended in Elder Williams Soaked head to toe in some water balloon Cross fire!
 Red, White & Blue...love you all and boy does West Virginia get stoked about the 4th of July!

So for st arters this week The City and County asked us to come so they could present us with a formal certificate of appreciation. and they gave me a copy of this front page headline for the state newspaper...It was fun to talk more with city and county people we worked with now that things are back to normal, I even met someone who lived in logan UT and works at a ski resort in Mountain ops just like I did. Alright so this story will be further elaborated in my written letter, but long story short, Alan tells us his toilet won't flush, so we know  a ward member who can fix any thing, the ward member comes over with a plumbing snake, says well that isn't the problem...he takes a look under the house in the crawl space and discovers a pool of "goodness" (use your imagination) John (the member) tells us what to do and how to do it. and we set to work. Dearest All It was a grand week, we worked hard and diligently, not all with ease either, which I suppose is why it was a great week, because it took work and even though we didn't see any immediate results (as I have been blessed by often over the course of my mission) I felt the spirit and simply that the Lord was pleased with our efforts and felt Preach My Gospel's measure of success more so than ever before, dedication. It is has not been easy to stay motivated with my usual excitement in this area... Tuesday  was proving to be my make or break point, we had a day full of plans and appointments resulting from the efforts of last weekend...then one by one every single one cancelled or rescheduled, turning to our back-up plans which was a finding effort or some sort...by  6:00  I was tired and a little down on myself, when we came in prepared and ate dinner and following the meal, and about to go out again & my heart was heavy, and sat down while waiting for m...
