Dear All

Another Week in Zion of Parkersburg, Elder Myers and I continue to go strong  week two on the Zion Standard of Excellence! and Miracles after miracles, from a random number calling us and having no clue who we were and setting up a member present lesson and accepting a baptism date that day! To giving a priesthood blessing to a ward member diagnosed with cancer and 3 days later having her cancer spots miraculously gone!

The Book is Blue and the Church is True this Work is going forth and I am pumped to be a small part of it in my heavenly father's plans for this area!

 Don't we just look down right dapper in bike gear, ankle straps and all...This was on an exchange with Elder Ostler.

So for st arters this week The City and County asked us to come so they could present us with a formal certificate of appreciation. and they gave me a copy of this front page headline for the state newspaper...It was fun to talk more with city and county people we worked with now that things are back to normal, I even met someone who lived in logan UT and works at a ski resort in Mountain ops just like I did. Alright so this story will be further elaborated in my written letter, but long story short, Alan tells us his toilet won't flush, so we know  a ward member who can fix any thing, the ward member comes over with a plumbing snake, says well that isn't the problem...he takes a look under the house in the crawl space and discovers a pool of "goodness" (use your imagination) John (the member) tells us what to do and how to do it. and we set to work. I just want to share 3 experiences and 3 miracles in following the spirit. Obedience entitles us to the spirit and then be obedient to the direction from the spirit. We were driving in-route to our apartment for an overdue lunch, when I saw, a mother and her 3 children on her porch and just as fast as I saw them we zipped right on past, but the spirit so immediately said...stop and go talk to them...Not wasting a moment I explained the prompting to Elder Davis who was driving and he parked the car and we walked back...to find the father outside working on his weed-wacker...we simply and honestly explained who we were and that we felt prompted to come back, His simile was so large and he immediately asked..."would you like to meet my family" to which we replied "of course!" and out came three of most adorable little girls and his expectant wife. So much happened this past couple of weeks and it feels like time just keeps moving faster and time to type gets shorter, I will do my best to sum up a few of the highlights of the weeks. Exchange with Cave Spring Elders/Elder MacDonald's Surgery - An elder in our district Elder MacDonald had been suffering from some headaches and major dizziness for a week or so after some usual remedies didn't work he was recommended to go see a doctor, who after learning his heart rate was dangerously low, he was shortly admitted to Lewis Gale Hospital. The gave us a call shortly after and we met them at the hospital. As this all unfolded it was concluded that Elder MacDonald needed a pacemaker...All went well and after 3 days He was able to return to missionary service and did not have to go home:) As I watched all this unfold I was amazed at how many people involved were touched in little ways.
